MP Watch is working for a better future and honesty in politics.
How ? – By watching our MPs, and holding our MPs to account. When people are watched, they behave better.
MP Watch is a national organisation, genuinely non-party-political.
We want our MPs to focus on a better and more climate-aware future locally, nationally and internationally.
Our local group is based on the NEW constituency, Dorking & Horley.
Right now we’re building worthwhile relationships with all election candidates and our eventual MP.
Lord Deben, former Chair of the Climate Change Committee, said:
“There’s no time to kick the football down the road. We have this system and have to work within it.”

Aims and Activities
We aim to: Develop good working relationships with election candidates – and the selected MP
Identify and develop expertise on issues that matter to us – and others
Help our candidates, and MP(s), to be well-informed on the issues – developing expert briefings as guidance
Watch what our representatives do – how they behave and vote, on our behalf
Act as critical friends to our representatives – holding them to account for their choices and actions,
but helping and enabling them as best we can, to get the best results for all of us
